Windows 2000 Advanced Server 최대 지원 메모리

Windows 2000 Server 에서 지원하는 최대 메모리 지원 사양과 관련하여 아래와 같이 정리하였습니다.


[환경]
Windows 2000 Advanced Server SP4


[문의내용]
Physical Memory 12GB를 장착하였으나 부팅 후 운영체제에서 8GB 로 인식함


[원인]
Windows 2000 Server Advanced Server 에서 사용할 수 있는 최대 메모리 지원 용량은 8GB 입니다.
Physical Memory를 12GB로 확장하더라도 OS에서는 인식할 수 없습니다.
